Getting a second opinion by going with Maschke Associates’ redesign saved Orthopaedic Associates money while gaining enhanced building quality.
This busy orthopedics practice, located at 619 Pointe North Boulevard, had contracted with a Design/Build Contractor for its 30,000-square-foot office building and was in the early stages of construction when it brought in Maschke Associates. Maschke Associates uncovered that some costs were inflated and included improperly designed elements and low-quality building systems and materials. The redesign also included the exterior facades and portions of the floor plan. The analysis and redesign resulted in savings of over $400,000 while upgrading the building’s flow and finishes and expanding the onsite parking.
